Emma Jette

Jette’s innovative idea, “Professional Photography,” encourages students to learn how to use Photoshop and InDesign software programs to build their own businesses. Students will be given access to professional-grade lighting and camera equipment purchased with the Voya Unsung Heroes grant that will help them in their designs and in setting up a photoshoot. They will create photos that are aligned with the design they are creating, allowing the students to create projects that are produced entirely by them. This project will also expose students to photography as a possible career path.
