Dyana Todd

Todd's "Project CARES - Community Apartment for Resources and Educational Support" is a program that offers on-site tutoring to K-5 students living in a low-income apartment complex. The program operates out of a two-bedroom apartment in the complex. In addition to the tutoring sessions and homework help, the program offers safe, drug-free activities for the children and the community, and family support services. It provides a safe environment for parents to interact with their children and brings students, families, teachers, and community volunteers together to form a powerful coalition for positive change.
