Douglas Wagoner

Wagoner's Hydroponics and Aquaculture project gave at-risk students the chance to increase their interest in science by letting them create a hydroponics garden and an aquaculture, containing a number of different species of fish. The program helped students who had performed poorly in the general school environment by reconnecting them to the learning process through activities which were hands-on and geared toward more practical situations.
