Waclawski's "Techno Me: Electronic Portfolio" project encourages students to think about and plan for their futures through the creation of personal portfolios. By graduation each student's portfolio includes a resume, major test scores, career exploration information, references, a personal autobiography, an educational development plan, and transcripts. The portfolio also includes an "outcome exhibit" that highlights a student's skill or interest, why it will be important in their future, and what they learned about themselves over the course of their educational experience. Students are then graded on their portfolios during oral presentations to peers, educators, and community volunteers.
