Dianna Wallace

Wallace, the Literacy Facilitator at Hallett Fundamental Academy is expanding its home-school reading component with her winning program, "Word Readers". Now, students struggling with reading skills can feel comfortable practicing at home with their families. Each participating family will receive a literacy bag with the following components: a hard covered book, an interactive activity to measure the comprehension of the material and encouraging instructions for parents to promote literacy in the family. According to Wallace, students who spend additional time reading have shown academic improvement in all subjects. Wallace lives in Aurora.
