Murray's "Paw Prints: A Hands-On Approach" project creates a print shop business run by students. A CEO and a Board of Directors are elected to oversee the business and make important decisions. Each week students rotate to different work stations where they learn to operate different types of equipment and perfect software skills. Students also create a portfolio of the samples they design and use this tool to market their products. This project develops student leadership, self-esteem, dependability, responsibility and teamwork. In addition, this business provides a valuable printing service to the school and the community.
