Cynthia Jesup

Jesup's project utilized creativity to increase parental involvement in the education of their children. Through a series of parent/student Saturday art workshops, students in kindergarten through fifth grade were brought together with their parents to work side by side in an enjoyable setting. Students learned art skills while parents learned how art is closely tied to classroom areas of study through the use of vocabulary, new concepts, and history.
