Connie Michael

Michael’s innovative teaching idea, “Crowbots,” focuses on bringing STEAM learning into the classroom. Using robotics, students will be inspired and will develop a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. Michael will provide students with hands-on curriculum offering an experiential education that will excite, engage, and enrich their learning environment while building their content vocabulary and skills. This project will give students the opportunity to transfer construction and problem solving skills from one dimensional to real life through robots. The use of technology will push students to work more diligently to solve problems presented using a tactile approach. Through this project, Michael hopes to expose students to what the world of engineering encompasses.
