Lujan-Pincomb's "KSTAR Productions" project allows students to be real newspersons on a closed-circuit school television station. The student news teams research and develop news and entertainment programs to be broadcast to their fellow students. Among the planned programs for the station are: "Sierra Spotlight," highlighting local clubs and organizations; local, national sports and weather news; "Personal Profiles," which includes interviews with local politicians and celebrities; a teen talk show, where hosts tackle an issue important to students; and an original game show that features students answering educational questions.
