Cindy Porter-McLaughlin

Porter-McLaughlin's "Outdoor Education" is an alternative to regular physical education. Special units are developed on hiking, climate camping, orienteering, map reading and geology. Students gain an awareness of what the state's outdoors have to offer and are given opportunities to take a risk or accept a challenge to broaden their horizons.
