Cindy Pesek

Pesek's "Bright Side" project involves community volunteers in the After School Enrichment Program to help mentor students by being a role model on a one-on-one basis. Each student and mentor is specially matched to spend time together after school twice a week. During their time together, Bright Side plans activities that range from field trips to the library or bowling, to sharing a meal. High school students also help facilitate group activities for the students and their mentors. Students and mentors have a variety of resources
