Christine Bruso

Bruso and Syre-Hager's "T.A.L.E.S. - The Author's Lab and Editors' Shop" is a writing workshop for K-3 students that provides students with all the equipment, resource materials, teaching aids, and technological support they need to publish and display their work. Because the material is centrally located in Lower School Library, a cross-section of the school population can work together to create a variety of publishable writing. This produces engaged, skillful writers who have an appreciation for the writing process. The program also includes teachers' workshops and resource material, a system to track student progress over four years, and computer hardware and software.
