Christina Gordon

"Gordon's "Hometown Heroes" project requires students to research and study heroes in the United States, New Jersey, and their hometown. The students research individuals to determine what makes them heroes and then, through interviews and research of individuals in their own community, choose people they feel are hometown heroes. Students also plan an awards ceremony where the heroes are recognized for their contributions to the community.
