Carol Wilson

Wilson's "Switched on Empathy" project brings 60 gifted students together to build simple adaptive switches to modify toys for students with various disabilities at a nearby pre-school. The students also write and illustrate books for the younger students. The students learn problem-solving and communication skills, while developing an appreciation for the challenges that disabled students face.
