Bryan Aldrich

Aldrich's "LSH Digital Motion Theater" project gives students the opportunity to produce short digital videos demonstrating scientific principles and concepts. Students write scripts, create "claymation" characters to animate scenes, and shoot and edit the clips, which illustrate actual chemistry, physics, and biology experiments. The experience improves scientific observation and data analysis and increases overall understanding of the subject matter. In addition to developing writing and digital technology skills, the videos become part of the school's permanent collection and support relevant scientific study on the part of other students.
