Meehan created the "Cruise Project" designed to improve math skills. To demonstrate the need for math skills in real life situations, students planned a cruise vacation within a specific budget. Using percentages, addition, subtraction, division, and problem solving, they developed budgets, a balance sheet, a checkbook, and other financial information. The students used their research and geography skills.
