Bonnie Fertig

Fertig's "S.T.A.R. Power" project helps special education students work on their writing and communications skills through the study of the mysteries of space. Students study the orbits of the Earth and other planets, look at constellations and the myths associated with them, and perform their own musical. Parents are also encouraged to attend a number of events with their children. The project provides a fun learning environment that helps the students develop important learning skills.
