Beverly Dietrich

Dietrich's project is a simulation that introduces students to authentic experiences which they may face as adults. The students imagine themselves as college graduates who are out on their own. Using math, reading and writing skills, students keep a check book, draft letters for job applications, learn how to conduct job research, become comfortable with the computer via e-mail and on-line research and deal with budget issues in conjunction with taxes, car payments and monthly bills.
