Becky Flanigan

Flanigan's "Community Heroes Book" project gives students the opportunity to produce a book chronicling heroes from the local community. Each student writes a two-page summary of an individual that has made a valuable contribution to the community. The students then use desktop publishing software to ready the book for publishing. Participating students are able to develop their writing and research skills through this project.
