Barbara Ringenberger

Ringenberger and Plantation Middle School's "Advanced Communication Skills" program involves course content not generally included in standard curricula. The program focuses on developing communication abilities in the areas of reading, writing, and public speaking. Classes revolve around themes such as the study of conflict resolution, space exploration, law, and concepts of free enterprise. The program not only increases the amount of challenging content to which middle school students are normally exposed, but also gives them increased opportunities to become effective communicators.
