Anne Heyrend

Heyrend and Matthews' "Wildflower Garden" project uses the native flora of Idaho to teach fourth grade students important learning skills such as data collection, research, analytical and communications skills. The students are growing a variety of wildflowers and study their growth. The wildflowers are then incorporated into the landscape design of the school.
