Amy Poole

Poole's project is an interdisciplinary, multimedia learning experience about the causes and effects of hurricanes. Students build model houses, create animated hurricanes, research past hurricanes and actually track the course of a mock hurricane as it comes through their area. Working with local police and fire departments and the American Red Cross, students receive a practical learning experience on how to prepare for a hurricane.
