Warner's Amargosa Adventures in Science introduced students to the Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge. Students studied the delicate ecosystem of the refuge, which included a number of life-forms found nowhere else on Earth. Students brought seeds of native trees to grow in the classroom and replant in the spring. The project helped students gain valuable research skills through extensive data collection which was recorded in student journals.
