Allecia Gates

Gates's Music Technology project demonstrated to students how computers could be used to compose and perform music. It also taught them about music from different cultural groups. Students studied different aspects of the music, looking at rhythm, harmony, and melody. Students then used MIDI technology to compose their own music, incorporating the different musical styles they learned.
