The team’s innovative teaching idea, “1:1 Integration,” is focused on creating a 1:1 integrated classroom for Freshman and Sophomore English Language Arts students. The program will have a technology-driven curriculum that provides students with the necessary skills to be successful in the 21st century workplace.  After the program is executed, the group will evaluate the program and its usefulness to provide the school with the necessary data to implement a school-wide 1:1 program. Students will learn how to manipulate documents, take notes, collaborate effectively using online management tools and platforms and to build their critical thinking skills. The teachers want their students to leave the classroom as competent and confident digital citizens that will use technology to successfully generate change in their continuing education and careers.
