JOHN A BROSNAHAN

John is a Financial Adviser with Voya Financial Advisors, with over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry.  John and his team work diligently to ensure that their clients remain well-positioned to reach their financial goals; from short term needs, such as building an emergency fund, to intermediate needs, such as saving for a child’s education, and to long term needs, such as securing a reliable retirement income for the future.   

John has successfully completed the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 exams. In addition to his securities registrations, John also maintains Life & Health insurance licenses in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia and he holds his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation.

John grew up in Falls Church, VA and has resided in Virginia since 1968.  He graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.  While at W&M, John also led the football team as both quarterback and captain.  John and his wife Nancy reside in Haymarket, VA. John is a founding member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and has been actively involved in coaching youth football and baseball in the Gainesville/Haymarket area for many years. John has two children.  His son recently graduated from the College of William and Mary and his daughter is in her second year at the University of Virginia.
