My Absence Voyage™
The addition of a new family member is an exciting time. My Absence Voyage™ is a comprehensive, easy-to-use planning tool designed to help expectant parents navigate their leave of absence. It provides step-by-step guidance to understand available paid and unpaid benefits, as well as job protections, so employees can make informed decisions about their time off.1
- Personalized leave plans. Employees will design a leave plan based on their individual needs and circumstances.
- Estimate benefit payments. Employers will plan their absence with an outline of paid benefits available.
- Timeline management. Employees will receive a checklist to help them prepare for each stage of their leave.
Family First
Throughout our lives, we may find ourselves in the role of caregiver and not even realize the impact it can have on our lives. Through Family First, employees will receive professional, live support to assist them with their caregiving challenges. All Care Experts2 are licensed professionals, including nurses, social workers, mental health professionals and case/care managers who are supported by a multi-disciplinary team, which includes physicians and other experienced specialists. Whether an employee is dealing with logistical hurdles, financial worries, family dynamics or needs support with a medical condition, Family First’s Care Experts can help by providing the following:
- Access to licensed and accredited Care Experts and Care Team. This team works with employees in a 1:1 relationship and offers a holistic approach intended to help reduce the challenges of caregiving. Family First assess the specific details of each employee’s caregiving journey and challenges, such as caregiving burnout, and crafts a personalized Care Plan that addresses the intricate and multifaceted needs of both caregivers and care recipients.
- A High-Tech Digital Care Hub. This technology is designed by caregivers, for caregivers and helps to reduce the tasks that caregivers and care recipients can face. The digital experience includes dynamic views, searchable care, support networks and a Care Library of educational videos and articles.
- Support for the loved ones of the employee. Family First services are also available to the loved ones of the employee who is involved in the caregiving journey.

Short Term Disability Income Coverage
Our STD Income Coverage can be a part of a benefits program aimed to help fit your organization’s needs and support employees in their time of need. STD pays benefits to replace to replace a percentage of an employee’s weekly earnings for a disability lasting a few weeks to a few months. There may be a waiting period before an employee is eligible for benefits.
Voya’s STD offering is adaptable to most enrollment systems and can be included on virtually any platform or benefits administration system, allowing employees to select their benefits as part of their annual or open enrollment process.

Long Term Disability (LTD) Income Insurance
Long Term Disability
If employees become disabled or are unable to work due to an illness for a longer period of time, Long Term Disability (LTD) Income Insurance can help replace some of their list income.
Generally, Long Term Disability benefits begin once STD benefits have been exhausted, if applicable. Benefits are then paid for the duration of the employee’s medical condition or until they reach their Social Security Normal Retirement Age. A waiting period may apply before an employee is eligible for benefits and the plan maximum duration will apply.
We can offer education on the disability management process and direct employees to programs such as retraining and educational service, modifications to workplace in anticipation of return to work and Social Security Disability Income filing assistance.
